Comprehensive Eye exam

$360

Our concierge approach to eye care and annual comprehensive examination ensures your vision stays optimized for your demanding lifestyle. Most eye diseases do not have symptoms to warn you of early problems because there are no pain receptors inside the eyes. This is why it is important to have your eyes examined annually to detect and address eye health problems before they permanently impair your vision. Nearly every activity is dependent on your eyes: sports, computer work, school, studying, working, reading, driving, shopping, balance, watching TV or movies, and even just walking around. We are able to diagnose and treat many conditions such as Astigmatism, Presbyopia, Myopia (nearsightedness), Hyperopia (farsightedness), and many more.

Our doctors offer cutting edge contact lens technology for single vision and multifocal options

Whether you are considering wearing contact lenses for the first time, or if you are looking for the latest technology, we will help you maximize your comfort and vision. We fit contact lenses for every type of person and lifestyle. We recommend daily disposable lenses for many of our patients who experience dryness or discomfort. Daily disposable contact lenses are the ultimate in convenience, and are one of the healthiest options for your eyes. There is no need to clean them; just replace them after each use. They are also ideal for traveling because you do not need to bring contact lens solutions or cases, and you always have spare pairs. Contact lenses are healthy to wear, require very little maintenance, and allow for freedom from glasses. A contact lens eye health evaluation is performed annually to evaluate for complications associated with contact lens usage. Contact lenses are a Class A Medical device as defined by the FDA.  As a result, improper usage of contact lenses can lead to increased risks for eye infections and inflammation.  Many of these problems can be prevented through proper maintenance and evaluations on a regular basis.

We treat many eye conditions - red eyes, infections, injuries, and more. In some situations, we may be able to provide virtual consultations

  • OptiLight™ is a new intense pulsed light (IPL) device that is the first and only FDA-approved IPL treatment for Dry Eye Disease (DED) due to Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), also known as evaporative dry eye or lipid deficiency dry eye. Requires Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV. IPL is an effective and painless treatment that targets the root cause of some forms of dry eye by delivering pulses of light to the area surrounding the eyes. This enables the meibomian glands to resume their vital moisturizing function for long-term dry eye relief and treatment.

  • This cutting-edge radiofrequency treatment reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves the appearance of cellulite, and tightens skin. It is a noninvasive procedure that is safe for all skin types and levels of sun exposure, seamlessly integrating into any cosmetic maintenance routine.

Nonsurgical blepharoplasty utilizes radiofrequency energy to effectively and safely treat dry and baggy eyes, resulting in a smoother, healthier appearance. This treatment can also help manage meibomian gland disorder, a primary cause of dry eye syndrome. TempSure Envi radiofrequency works by opening the meibomian glands, allowing oils to flow into the tear film, and strengthening the eyelid through increased collagen and elastin production.

The radiofrequency energy stimulates clogged tear glands, restoring an optimal eye surface.

  • Punctal plugs are non-surgical tiny medical devices that are placed in the eye’s tear ducts (called puncta). Puncta are the tiny openings that drain tears from your eyes. About the size of a grain of rice, the plug stops fluid from draining from the eye. This helps keep the eye’s surface moist and comfortable, relieving itchy, burning, and red eyes. These plugs can last in the eye from a few days to months, depending on the type recommended by your eye doctor. Temporary plugs are often used to keep the eye moist after having refractive surgery or when other therapies provide insufficient relief. Semi-permanent plugs are made of a longer-lasting medical plastic (such as silicone or acrylic). These plugs are designed to stay in the eye for years.

Surgical Co-Management

In recent years there has been a tremendous increase in options available for vision correction through eye surgery. LASIK, PRK, Implantable Contact Lenses, and other refractive surgeries continue to evolve and improve. Cataract surgery replaces the natural lens that has developed a cataract. The cataract lens is replaced with an intra-ocular lens and there are many designs to choose from. A detailed history, thorough testing and discussion of your visual needs will help us determine if you are a candidate for surgery. If you choose to have surgery, we will guide you through the process, help you choose the best surgeon for your procedure and provide follow-up evaluation after the surgery has been done.

Retinal Imaging is an invaluable tool for diagnosing and managing many sight threatening conditions

Retinal Imaging Photography

Our new digital retinal camera takes high resolution photographs of your eyes. The painless procedure assists the doctor in the early detection of many disorders including glaucoma, hypertension, diabetes, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and many more vision threatening conditions. The images are stored in your medical record and compared with images during future exams. This allows the doctor to observe even the smallest change from the previous exam. Retinal photographs are also an invaluable educational tool that can help your eye doctor to better explain the state of your health and well being. By reviewing your images with your doctor, they can point out changes or areas to observe and also explain treatment options. Another age-old saying is that knowledge is power, so the more educated you are about eye health, the better you’ll understand what is being recommended to you and why it is important.

Specialty Contact Lenses

Scleral, Gas Permeable, Ortho-K

Starting at $1600. lenses sold separately. Ask an Associate for DetailS.

Some specialty contact lenses functionally replace the irregular cornea with a perfectly smooth optical surface to correct vision problems caused by keratoconus and other corneal irregularities. They are also used for eyes that have undergone a cornea transplant, and for people with severe dry eyes caused by conditions. For individuals who wish to be free from reading  glasses, multifocal contacts are available. Specialty contact lenses are custom-made for each wearer, so fitting these specialty contacts demands greater expertise and significantly more time than fitting standard contact lenses. We also offer orthokeratology, a specialty contact lenses that reshapes the front curvature of the eyes resulting in clear vision without the need for glasses or contact lenses. These type of lenses may slow the progression of nearsightedness, and is a safe and non-surgical alternative for some patients who are not candidates for surgical vision correction.
