In 2019, Dr. Alice Sun and Dr. Daniel Sjolund joined the practice and brought new technology skills to expand the scope of practice. Below is Dr. Weintraub's retirement letter to all patients:
Dear Patients, Friends and Colleagues,
Over the past 37 years it has been my sincere honor and privilege to be your Optometrist. It is with mixed emotions that I have decided to retire from the practice of Optometry. By entrusting me with your eye care and letting me be a small part of your lives you have been an important and fulfilling part of mine.
I feel fortunate to leave your care in the hands of Dr. Alice Sun, a competent and caring Optometrist, who will continue to operate the office with the same dedication and high standards. Dr. Sun received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego and her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She is looking forward to meeting you and is available for appointments at this time.
